Bio-Molecular Self-Assembly LAB  

Ram Prakash holds a masters degree in biochemistry. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the lab with a focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer's Disease progression. He is an expert in working with live animal models. His hobbies include listening to music and playing cricket.

Dhananjay is currently in his final year of his undergraduate degree in Biotechnology. With an avid curiosity of how things work, he is interested in understanding the mechanisms behind protein aggregation, protein biophysics, and neurodegeneration. He was a recipient of the IASc-INSA-NASI Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (2026). His hobbies include singing and playing badminton, and in his free time, he enjoys cooking.

Akshitha is an undergraduate Biotechnology student in her final year. She is fascinated by how a protein folds and how misfolding can cause aggregates. As a Summer Trainee, she has gained hands-on experience on protein expression and purification at CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad. She is a passionate dancer, classically trained in Bharathanatyam. She is also an amateur philosopher in her free time.
