About me

“Imagination is more important than Knowledge”

The legendary Dr. Albert Einstein once said, "I have no special talent, I am only passionately curious." These words resonated deeply within me, igniting an unquenchable thirst to not only become a distinguished scientist but also a mentor in the fascinating realm of bioengineering. I am driven by an insatiable desire to explore the fundamental biomolecular mechanisms that underpin disease progression and therapeutic interventions, with a particular focus on unraveling the enigmatic role of molecular self-assembly.

I am a fervent advocate of contributing to the field of Amyloid Biology, Neurodegeneration, and Drug delivery, where I believe the greatest impact can be made through fundamental research. With a B-Tech and M-Tech in Biotechnology from Anna University, I went on to pursue my Ph.D. at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. Currently, I am a Research Assistant Professor at SRM University Kattankulathur, Chennai, where I continue to make groundbreaking contributions to the field.

My path thus far has been one defined by unwavering passion and relentless dedication, encompassing a span of five years that were marked by unparalleled research experiences as an NIH and CIHR postdoctoral fellow. I had the honor of working at the Department of Medicine at Boston University, as well as the University of Alberta, where I had the privilege of collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the field.

As I forge ahead in my journey of scientific exploration, I remain steadfast in my commitment to push the boundaries of knowledge and inspire future generations of scientists. It is my fervent hope that my work will serve as a catalyst for further innovations and that together we can embark on a journey that will lead to unprecedented discoveries and advancements that will benefit our world for generations to come.

Let's Team up!!

I am always on the lookout for driven and passionate individuals who are thirsty for knowledge and have a strong desire to explore unconventional research ideas. If you are someone who is committed to making a positive impact and contributing to the greater good of our nation, we can work together to pave the way toward a brighter future. Through cutting-edge research and discoveries, we can help make our nation more self-reliant and prosperous.
